Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in workshops (“Workshop” or “Workshops”) hosted by Sara-Jane Lai (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking or attending a Workshop, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking & Payment

Your spot is confirmed upon full payment of the Workshop fee. Payment is non-refundable except under the conditions outlined below.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations by Participants: Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 7 days before the Workshop date. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable. For Online Workshops, no refunds are provided for missed attendance. However, if the Workshop is recorded, a link to the recording will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the event.

  • Cancellations by Host: If we cancel or reschedule a Workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future date.

3. Participant Responsibilities

By attending the Workshop, you agree to:

  • Participate fully and respectfully, whether in person or online.

  • Notify us of any relevant allergies, medical conditions, or access needs (for in-person Workshops).

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection and required technology (for Online Workshops).

  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants.

4. Health & Safety (In-Person Workshops)

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety. We are not liable for injuries, illnesses, or damages incurred during the Workshop.

5. Intellectual Property

All Workshop materials, including handouts, slides, recordings, and resources, are the property of Sara-Jane Lai. Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or shared without our written permission.

6. Media Consent

We may take photographs, videos, or screenshots during the Workshop for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded, unless you notify us in writing prior to the Workshop.

7. Technology & Access (Online Workshops)

  • You are responsible for ensuring you can access the online platform (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

  • We are not liable for technical issues on your end, such as internet disruptions or device incompatibility.

  • Online Workshops are for personal use only; sharing login details or workshop links is prohibited.

  • If the Workshop is recorded, a link to the recording will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the event, for personal use only.

8. Liability Disclaimer

We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property arising from participation in the Workshop, whether in person or online.

9. Agreement

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
